Chicago Prairie Tennis Club
Providing Love, Service and Advantage to the Tennis Community

Welcome to the Chicago Prairie Tennis Club website. We invite you to tour our site and encourage to you join our CPTC family if you aren’t already a member. CPTC is the oldest African-American Tennis Club in the nation. For more than 100 years we have provided love, service and advantage to the African-American tennis community. We are an all volunteer non-profit organization. Every officer and committee member volunteers their time to the organization, only our devoted teaching pros are paid.

Our focus is the development of our junior tennis players. We believe that youth involvement in the game of tennis assists in the development of their character, social skills, sportsmanship and enables them to focus on their education through the disciplines learned in tennis.

We are also a social organization that sponsors social and tennis events for adults and children. Please browse through this website to learn more about us.
